A sophisticated 9-apartment development, beautifully designed and with integrated high-tech services – highly-saleable and attractive properties.

Working closely with the client and the architect, we demolished an abandoned pub and excavated the basement level of the development, before commissioning a timber frame structure assembled on-site. This combined with steel elements which were integrated into the timber frame for cantilevered balconies.

The building was clad in a brick slip outer covering, a rooftop apartment added with a steel frame and glazing, alongside elegant larch timber balconies and a ‘green’ sedum roof.

All the mechanical and electrical systems were integrated as the project developed including intercom systems and under floor heating throughout, alongside smartly detailed bathrooms and kitchens with integrated air-conditioning and audio visual systems.

Mono Ltd as main contractor managed all tasks, building work logistics and day-to-day running of the site, completing the project on time and budget.

“We’d have no hesitation in recommending Mono Ltd for projects similar in scale to those completed for us like ‘The Crown’ in Elephant and Castle and ‘The New Portland Arms’ in Vauxhall.”
